The World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2021 (WAIC), co-sponsored by National Development and Reform Commission, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People´s Republic of China, National Internet Information Office, CAS, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Association for Science and Technology and Shanghai Municipal People‘s Government, was held in Shanghai from July 8 to 10, bringing together top scientists, well-known entrepreneurs, government officials, experts and scholars, international organizations, investors, startup teams and other guests from all over the world.

As a leading enterprise in the field of data center, an implementer of sustainable data ecosystem, and a strategic partner of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, Hotwon Group was invited to the World Artificial Intelligence Conference for the first time as a representative of high-tech private unicorn companies, and together with the participants, we seek solutions to build green smart city governance and sustainable intelligent data ecosystem.

2021 International AI City Forum

2021 International AI City Forum is one of the key forums of this year's WAIC, guided by the WAIC Organizing Committee, co-sponsored by Shanghai Smart City Development Institute, Tongji University and China Unicom, co-organized by Jingdong Group and Shanghai Information Service Outsourcing Development Center, and supported by UNIDO-SIPC, Tomorrow.City (Shanghai) HUB and BSI and other organizations.

On July 9, Mr. Liu Li’ao, President of Hotwon, was invited to attend 2021 WAIC - International AI City Forum and delivered a keynote speech on "Data Center Empowering AI City New Infrastructure", talking about AI empowering digital city governance with the guests. In his speech, Mr. Liu Li’ao introduced that the Group, as a leading enterprise and young leader in the data center field, adheres to the concept of green sustainable development and has been exploring intelligent design, advanced power supply, and heat dissipation technology, secure green storage devices, energy-saving servers, etc. to reduce energy consumption and balance efficiency and security, so as to continuously empower the new infrastructure of AI cities and create a sustainable data ecosystem.

AI Empowering to Bridge the Digital Divide Forum is one of the important forums of the WAIC, guided by the WAIC Organizing Committee, co-sponsored by Shanghai Smart City Development Institute, Ant Group, and co-organized by UNIDO-SIPC and Shanghai University.

On July 10th, Mr. Wang Lipeng, vice president of the Group, attended the 2021 WAICAI· Bridging the Digital Divide Forum as a special guest, and attended the opening ceremony of the development report "Gathering Digital Partners and Bridging the Digital Divide", discussing with the participants how to make more people better integrate into the era of intelligent applications and share the digital development dividend. As the co-sponsor and participating development organization of the development report "Gathering Digital Partners and Bridging the Digital Divide", Hotwon Group will provide important cases and solutions of sustainable data ecosystem for the report, and will cooperate with its strategic partner UNIDO ITPO Shanghai to serve the global new infrastructure construction with Chinese technology, bridge the digital divide and benefit human development with science and technology.
