July 24th Operation and Maintenance Day | Hotwon will hold a large-scale joint drill of operation and maintenance in six places and three centers.

On July 24th Operation and Maintenance Day, Hotwon together with cloud computing bases in Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Foshan, Tianjin and Guiyang held the "large-scale joint drill of operation and maintenance in six places and three centers".
This drill mainly focuses on practical exercises and simulation of movements. In order to verify the reliability of automatic control logic of high and low voltage power distribution system in case of double-way mains power failure, the time required for diesel engine to automatically start and output to electric equipment, ensures the stability and safety of the running of power supply and distribution system equipment and heating and ventilation system in Hotwon data center, improves the emergency handling ability of Hotwon operation and maintenance team for single-way and double-way mains power failure, and prepares for emergency deployment by Hotwon operation and maintenance team. These six places were jointly launched with the emergency drill of diesel engine with load in case of two-way mains power failure, emergency drill of BA system downtime, emergency drill of PDU power failure, emergency drill of handling of server loss, drill of handling of detached and disconnection of network equipment, and drill of tail fiber inspection of network packet loss optical module.

After the dynamic environment system alarming, the electrical and heating and ventilation engineers immediately response, check the failures of field equipment, feedback the monitoring posts in the monitoring duty room, and troubleshooting the failures.

The cabinet lost power in one-way at Chengdu No.1 cloud computing base simulation data center. Ensure that the spare parts of important equipment are sufficient. For the equipment problems that cause PDU power failure, the spare parts of important equipment in IDC are sufficient, which can handle failure events quickly.

It was found that the tail fiber of IDC was transmitting light normally, and the optical module of the client failed.
